Hello
My apologys for english writing....

I discovered that my cluch pedal went straight to the floor without disengaging the cluch and investigation revealed a bursted rubber piston seal in the slave cylinder.

The reason was old rotten rubber and I suspect someone at some point filled the reservoir with washer fluid or similar....the stuff that came out was not brake fluid....it is not possible to read anything on the old seal.

I found out that the cylinder and piston was in good condition and and tried to buy a repair kit...to no success so far.
The repair kit should look something similar to the attached ]picture

The challenge is to find a seal with correct diameter Sad

The piston has the following diameters and meassures:
Large diameter is Ø=28,36mm
Piston shank diameter is ø=19,1mm
Reccess height in piston is 6,3 mm

The bore diameter on the slave cylinder is 28,59mm

I hope maybe someone here have some good suggestions where to find such a repairkit with piston seal and a new rubber boot that can fit my MBtrac 700K 1984 model. Here seen with a large wich on the front loader... Big Grin

Thanks for any contribution
Have a nice day Cool
Hallo Tomisto,

in most cases a new cylinder would be better than renewing the old one and the price is not really high. At the side of the cylinder You will find a brand name of the manufacturer and in most cases a part number in the cast iron. Maybe such as FTE and the number.
Any FTE (or ATE-) dealer can get it.
Maybe Your local dealer also is able to get the repair-kits. It also can be identified with the number at the cylinder or the bore diameter in millimeter or inch.

If they can't help You and You really want to renew it with a repairkit, feel free to contact a dealer here in Germany:

http://www.nutzfahrzeuge-kindermann.de
or a lot of others.

If renewing, the cylinder bore must be honed new!

Greetings

Hello Tor Michael,

I recommend you a new slave cylinder, which is always the most favorable variant:

Hello Guys

Thanks for your contribution.

I finally found what I was looking for.

FYI
My slave cylinder is in perfect condition isnide, freshly honed. The piston is in good shape too.
The only problem is the rotten rubber seal and bellow.

After some hard searching on the internet I found a dealer that supplied these repkits without the piston.

Maybe this is useful for other members here too?
